We are deeply saddened to hear the news of the passing of Andy McGinty, our ESSA Water Polo Head Coach.

Andy’s commitment to the development of School Water Polo for over a decade at Bolton School, as part of the North West Division, with leading and supporting representative teams for ESSA and for the National team, will always be remembered.

Andy was pivotal with supporting the collaboration between Swim England and English Schools Swimming Association water polo in recent years and will be missed by the whole water polo community.

The English Schools Swimming Association would like to express our condolences to his family and the entirety of the Bolton School community, the North West Division, Manchester Water Polo Club and all those associated at Swim England during this sad and difficult time.
